Blog's Purpose

Becoming unemployed or under-employed can be to most an overwhelming and frightening experience. Where do you go? What do you do? Do you need to learn how to write a resume? Do you need to further your education? Are you looking for medical help? Hopefully, whatever the need, this blog will help you to either give or receive support and information from others in the same situation.

Have you heard about a business that is hiring but the job is out of your area of expertise? You can share that info here and possibly someone in that field who, like you, is seeking employment will benefit from your update. Or…you can just share your thoughts with those who understand what you are experiencing.

The unions are far from gone. It will be another uphill battle, but we have to carry on for our children and their children. No matter what union you belong to, this is the time to come together as one body and one voice. The voice that says, “We want to work.” What are your thoughts?
