Jewish Community Services is looking for part time/as needed drivers with a CDL license. The agency provides local door to door transportation for older adults and people with disabilities in the Genesee County area.. The drivers will have no set schedules and will be called as needed. The local drivers will be paid $10.00 per hour and the vehicle will be provided.
Drivers are needed for the Highway to Health Program that provids transportation to out of town non-emergency medical appointments to Ann Arbor, Bay City, Lansing, Saginaw and the Detroit area. Drivers for this program have to have flexible hours. In some instances drivers may be required to start as early as 5:00 am or need to stay at apppointment sites past 5:00pm. The drivers are paid $8.50 per hour and a vehicle is provided.
These positions require training which will be provided through the agency. This position would be perfect for a retiree that can provide these services for the long term.
